VPIMS
VPIMS is a comprehensive perioperative information management system. VPIMS is a mature solution, offering comprehensive functionality across the entire continuum of perioperative care, from the time a patient is scheduled for surgery through to final release from PACU. The system is there every step of the way to manage the process and clinically chart the patient care and progress. VPIMS optimizes both operational efficiency and clinical outcome. The system proactively monitors metrics like on-time case starts, billing accuracy and timeliness, staff productivity and quality of care, which results in improved performance across these key indicators. As part of optimizing operational and clinical outcomes, VPIMS easily supports pay-for-quality (“P4Q”) and pay-for-performance directives.
Vigilance
Vigilance is a clinical decision support application that allows clinicians to monitor all stages of care for multiple patients concurrently in multiple critical care locations (OR, PACU, ICU, etc.). Vigilance provides the clinician with real time access to vital sign data, lab results, streaming video and patient care information, among other key pertinent patient information, at the point-of-care for instant assessment of the patient’s condition and care. Clinicians can subscribe to any number of alerts using onscreen messages as well as text paging to increase patient safety and help promote rapid responses in critical situations. The clinician does not need to rely on others to summarize the patient’s situation when time is of critical importance. Instead, Vigilance presents all pertinent patient data along with user configurable alerts that can be delivered to cell phones, pagers, desktops or handheld devices.
